Jareth's wish, spilled desperately across chapped lips, was stolen away on the wind before it fully formed. Utterly and miserably alone, he lay down on the ice, hoping it all would be over soon.
He awoke to cold blue skies threatening precipitation, and found himself leaning heavily against something at once solid and yielding. Roused from frozen stupor, he reflexively gripped the arm that held him like one shocked back from the dead. Her name caught on his tongue like an epitaph.
“S-Sarah?” How she'd possibly found him in in this heaven-forsaken land he'd never know.

My husband says I do far too many "hug" type icons / emoticons for a Scandinavian sensibility, is that true?
hahaha yes and no. Not all Scandinavians are as cold as we are made out to be, infact many of us secretly want MORE hugs incl virtual ones As the offspring of two very reserved "cold" cultures, I can say nopenope, keep giving hugs, we love it even though it may not appear so at first. We´re like that grumpy old guy who secretely smiles to himself after getting a hug from his grandchild xDD
