A/N: I had to give Jareth a haircut, he kindly reminded me that this is 2016, not 1986... Happy 30th anniversary, Labyrinth lovers! This is part one of a two-part series. I'll address the "ice" part of the poem in the second installment.

Twenty-one layers of editing, y'all. 21. Digital oil painting, airbrush, texturing, colored pencil, and a tad of photomanipulation. Took about a bijillion years, give or take a few millennia. I even figured out how to make leather texture (Jareth's jacket), which for me is braggable.

Sarah's dress was entirely out of my imagination, I couldn't shake the idea of an embroidered owl and raven (my nicknames for Jareth and Sarah) together on the dress' mantle as the Goblin Kingdom's new heraldry. I got the actual images from a Celtic embroidery pattern source.
